The #V2953 Sewing Contest

Have you heard that the McCall Pattern Company is holding a #V2953 Sewing Contest ?  This Pattern has been ever so popular this Summer 2017. I saw the Pattern on the Mcalls Website but  I hadn't purchased it yet. The neckline would need adjusting in my own Opinion. I was glad to see that many sewist felt the same about the Neckline but they used the Pattern but went ahead and adjusted the Neckline.

"And it’s so easy to enter. All you have to do is:

1. Make this dress pattern. If you’ve already made this pattern you can still enter it in the contest.
2. Post your make on social media (Instagram [preferred], Facebook and the McCall’s Facebook Group, Pinterest, Twitter) any time between now and August 15, 2017. Posting it one place on social media, such as Instagram, is enough, as long as you’ve used the hashtag #V9253.
3. Tag it #V9253. If you’ve already made this dress and posted it, you can update your post with the hashtag."

African Prints will definitely work for this Sewing Pattern #V9253 as I have seen several Sewist use this pattern for the African Print Fabrics already and I must say that they are super gorgeous,
